Small attachment. A different presentation. 

Invented by fisherman Doug Reed, FloatZilla adds buoyancy to soft-plastic baits, helping anglers change how familiar lures sit and move underwater. The challenge was to make a small, unfamiliar attachment easy to understand—and build a brand anglers would recognize.

We helped shape FloatZilla’s identity across packaging, sales materials, and its Shopify website, making the product’s purpose clear at each touchpoint.

From a new idea to the tournament stage. 

Floatzilla has moved beyond the tackle box into trade shows, fishing media, and professional competition. Bryan Schmitt used FloatZilla attachments during his second-place finish at the 2023 Bassmaster Classic, while fellow pro Joey Cifuentes demonstrated how he rigs the product.

For a small attachment, those moments help make its purpose visible to a wider fishing audience.
